For use with generators with an open neutral or floating neutral. Most inverter generators have a "floating neutral; this typically causes the Power Watchdog EPO surge protectors or any other EMS surge protector to give you an ‘open ground’ or ‘open neutral’ error code and will prevent power from entering your RV. To correct this issue, simply plug this item into an unused 15 amp AC receptacle on the generator. This should create a neutral-to-ground bond and the condition should be resolved.
